I've posted on the hesitation i have/had with my car to no avail, i was ok with a slight hesitation and not quite the pull it should have but leaving my house (first start up of the day) to run to the store a couple blocks down i gave it maybe at most half throttle from a stop once going and it was bogging to the point that my car was hopping, like moving as it should, then bog, moving as it should, bog etc. etc. until finally it cleared out, leaving the store it continued to do this, not as bad (the entire car was hopping the first time) but still pretty shittily.

How do i check fuel pressure? Is there anyway to check how dirty the injectors are without having to pull them off? It has a brand new fuel filter but since it sat for 2 years maybe its dirty already. will i have to crimp the lines to keep from loosing all of my gas? How about store bought injector cleaner, my brother says its ********. im gonna bang on the cats and check if they're clogged, anyway to tell if theres a clog somewhere else in the exhaust. The car sat for so long im not ruling anything out. Im looking for the easiest things to check first as im not exactly rolling in the dough at the moment and cant really have my car torn apart for a week. But any suggestions are considered and appreciated, thanks guys :banghd:

I'll probably catch **** for saying it, but...

MAF sensor could do exactyly what you describe. I had it happen before to me, only way I found it was by replacing everything else, which I don' recommend, LOL. If you can, check the voltage from this sensor while driving(important!) will show almost right away a wierd/irratic voltage

Thanks for the info, i'll pull the MAF and clean it up. :) Can anyone answer my question on how to test fuel pressure at the rail, also if theres a way to check if you injectors are dirty without having to completely yank them off. This one's a tall order but if you could but it into somewhat of lame terms as im not the most mechanically inclined. :thumb:

A bad MAF will most of the time not throw a code. If it is just lazy, the computer won't know. I would remove it from the car clean the element with electrical contact cleaner, let it dry then reinstall.

You can buy a fuel pressure tester at most autoparts stores, mine was around $30 at AZ. Screws onto the schrader valve at the fuel rail..and has a gauge.

Have you checked the condition of your plugs and wires?

Your TPS and CID might also be culprits. Have you run the codes?

Good advice on the CID. The camshaft position sensor will sometimes give a bogging/hopping type symptom AND not throw a code. Out of the 3 CID's I've had to replace on my 2 SHO's I've never once gotten a code for them.

But according to your other post, it looks like you have other problems to worry about right now! Good luck.
