Is there a performance drop if the dual mid pipes are changed to a single pipe? Reason I ask is, I'm thinking about cutting the whole mid section and adding a 3 inch pipe with an electric cutout going back into the stock mufflers. I'm looking to keep the stock sound well as close to stock sound as possible. But adding the cutout for Lola. Any thoughts??

Personally, I don't think the loss in power would be that noticeable during regular driving. Why the intrest in a cutout? Mostly for sound? It's my understanding the biggest gains are from the downpipes and after that, the gains are minimal for the rest of the exhaust.

Mainly for on demand sound. The SHO I think is one of the top sleepers out on the market.
