Good afternoon!

Today was the day to put fluid film on the seams underneath the car. Looking at the black rocker panel molding underneath on each side, it looks like they’re missing “plugs”.

Should these holes in the rocker moldings have some sort of cover?

Thank you very much!

I removed mine when I undercoated the car. A mechanics pic worked well to get the clips lose without damage.

Undercoating. I didn't even think of doing that...may need to consider it. I have the special gun from old car work.

What I've done, is about what I did to the Excursion. I applied Fluid Film to the floor seams, sprayed inside and pockets, etc. I even sprayed inside the doors of the Excursion.

Fluid Film is a really good product. Have a friend who was worried about the expanding rust on the liftgate. Stopped dead in its' tracks :thumb:

I had never heard of Fluid Film. Thanks for mentioning that SHOdded. I don't need it for my SHO, but I have other vehicles that could benefit from a rust inhibitor.

Yes, been using Fluid Film for awhile. Has a bit of an odor, but it's not unpleasant and it goes away quickly. The only downside...which I assume some may see as an advantage...is that it can be washed off, so it should be reapplied every so often.

I understand there are places that professionally apply Fluid Film with big guns to rust proof vehicles, but I've just purchase a can at Lowes for my uses.
