I posted earlier about this and haven't got an answer to the thing I'm most worried about. It appears (doesn't look factory) as if someone drilled 2 holes in the bottom front of my intake, they are about an inch or two in diameter. Are these stock? Or could this be why my car drives much better with the MAF unglugged? If so what is the best way to go about fixing it (patch the holes or new). I'm begining to wonder if anyone has a stock intake around here to compare? I've had the car for a few years and its always been a dog but I haven't even noticed these holes before now.

mine doesnt have any holes...I believe holes in the air box would bring hot air into the engine and therefore "slow" down the engine. aka not create as much HP...not a huge difference in HP I wouldnt think...

I wouldnt think that it would have almost any affect as to why your car runs better with the MAF unplugged....
