Well.. I noticed when looking at my suspension today that the "nut" which is the top of my strut, I'm guessing from a rebuild kit... kind of like a Koni install... but its a Tokiko.. anyway... the thing is backing out... its almost flush on the other side of the car, and this side is a good 1/2" sticking out.. 5 or 6 threads worth..

Should or could I turn this in with the car hanging? Or should I put weight on it... or ???? How many threads are there on those? HOw far do those screw down into the body there?

Pics coming..

Negative, holds the "goodies" inside the strut tube itself. Like if you cut a monroe and use an insert... these threads..

Oh snap. I wonder if it's still charged with nitrogen, or if it bled out by now... That's scary lookin.

That should be what holds the Tokico cartridge in the housing, so he is all good as far as still having a gas charge.
