I've been looking for awhile at the new 2013's and am thinking of getting one. I've been dead set on getting the Performance Package but am having second thoughts. It will primarily be a daily driver and maybe just maybe it will make it to the track. Never been yet with any of my SHO's in my sig however I have aspirations of doing so. What I struggle with is the PP come with no spare tire and summer tires. Being a daily driver, I would prefer the spare and all season tires. What I like about the PP is the ability to switch of the traction control and you have a sports mode that gives it a little extra pep. Also the PP comes with different gearing and extra cooling. At some point I would want to get a tune, tint and lowering springs. If I don't get the PP, am I loosing out in flexibility or performance down the road?

Get the PP. You already had your mind set on it and it offers better cooling and performace. I will never take mine to the track but I love to turn off the Advance and Traction control (complete shut down in theory) and then drive like a mad man. It is worth the package.

Some folks have purchased the spare tire and floor for the trunk that comes in the LEO package incase you are set on a spare tire. Or when at the dealership, look in the trunk of a limited and see what parts are needed for a spare.

If I had a choice, I would have got the PP and have the dealer swap out the summer tires. My 2012 doesn't have the PP but it does have the 20's with Michelins. I still cannot get used to the 2013 20" wheels. Can't stand them. Like Boggus says the cooling, gearing and Traction control shut off are nice. The spare can be had.

You live in Ohio. You should be running Winter tires, anyway. All/Season tires are "No Season Tires", IMO. Running dedicated summer & winter tires is the only way to go on a performance car.
