If you have the SHO Shop catalog, look at page 29. The pipe on the right is the old style. Flip forward to page 33 and that is the new style. See how the new one wraps down and around with the back bank pipe? Whereas the old one just dropped straight back? The new design is a near equal length design, which helps with pulse tuning and makes more power.
