How many Gen 2 guys and gals are still driving on the factory suspension?

I don't know how much longer I can tolerate the lousy ride:nut:

What parts will make it more tolerable?

Thanks

Im still on my originals on my 95...and yeah Lousy is definitely the word for it. Im in extreme need for some upgrades. I am planning on going through and replacing as many bushings as I can along with new struts and springs all the way around. I will probably go with OEM struts and Eibach springs for just a little drop but essentially the same ride. I hope anyway.

Ive got almost all new suspension on my 93, its got Intrax and the ride is stiff but for that car it fits perfectly.

Dont know if this helps at all or not lol

I am glad we agree on the ride condition:lol: I will be ordering my stuff from the Tire Rack. I didn't really think it needed to be lowered until I backed it in the neighbors driveway and saw how much the rear sticks up:snicker:

Eibach's for sure, stereo, etc............lol

eibachs on a OEM type strut will not work, unless you like your car to bounce like a pogo stick.eibachs/intrax are a progressive rate spring, you need a progressive rate strut to go with it,or you will just wear the struts prematurely. i sugguest trying to find a set of Koni or Tokico struts if you wish to lower your car

If you dont want to lower it, there are quick assemblys with new springs, mouting plates, bearings too i belive, all ready for 3 nuts up top, and a pinch bolt on the bottom. roughly 150 a corner. I have been debating these for the time being, and to have a shiny housing, and new mounts to use for some koni's / intrax. I'm just tired of lookin at rusty northern parts.. :)

Yeah I guess I didnt think about the spring/strut combo that much....would definitely be a good idea to upgrade struts when going with a different spring :bonk:
Although I could totally hang with lincoln continentals with blown rear suspension if I kept the stocker struts....those things bounce like no other.

This last summer I put on Moog CC's with a Sensa-Trac struts. MUCH nicer than factory.

ride isnt bad but i need strut mounts and new springs which will be coming soon.. plus i been thinking about either tokico up front of going konis all around if i dont find any front tokicos.

springs will be intrax and im gonna lower some.
if im gonna do the suspention i plan on doing it all at once tho and gonna get subframe connectors from keystone powder coating and the h brace
cant wait actually :)
