Hi i'm having a problem with my 97 Sho i was on the freeway Friday night heading home when i notice my car started to lose power i shift in to neutral to prevent anything from messing up as i was coming to a stop the engine shut off and it started to have smoke come from the engine. i shut the car off and went to open the hood i could see the smoke coming from the top of it and i check my oil and it show nothing (i had just got my oil change at **** stop a week ago and had put 307 miles on the oil) now when i was driving all of my gauges where normal reading but when i turn the key in the on position the temp gauge shot past the "H" i had the car towed home and let it cool over night. When i came out the next morning to see what the car will do it had a very strong burn oil smell and i check under the hood and check the oil stick and it reading that its oil in the engine but it had a awful smell to it i go to start it and you can hear it try to turn over but wont start up. Can anyone help me?
