Curva Concepts C300 in Matte Gun Metal, 20 x 9.5, 30 mm offset. Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus 275/40ZR20. Car is also on Megan Racing coilovers.

Geez, that's nice. Hard act to follow.

TSW Vales, 20x8.5, 30mm (I would have liked 9s or 9.5s but there's only 8.5 and 10 )

Thanks man. I like your setup as well.

How are the Michelins working for you? I heavily considered them but the Contis were quite a bit cheaper and had good reviews. I like the Contis a lot, grip is great but I might try the Michelins next time anyway. See if the ride improves my setup rides rough lol.

I absolutely love this offset/setup.
Was going with 9 inch ET30 now I’m definitely going with this.

Where did you get the mud flaps though? Loving that look too.
Not mine obviously but I have the exact same setup.

I got the mud flaps on Ebay, use this search you should be able to find them:

Mud Flaps Fits Ford Taurus 10-2019 Splash Guards 4Pc Front + Rear AG1Z-16A550-AA

They did come with some hardware for mounting, but I would also consider replacing the little plastic rivets that hold the inner plastic fender in. I had to mangle some of them to get them out. I bought these on Amazon:

Rexka 10pcs Fender Liner Retainers Clips Fasteners for Ford W706092-S300 Edge Explorer Flex Mustang Taurus Chrysler 6508197AA Dodge Charger Ram 1500 2500 3500 4500 5500

Been waiting to put on some aftermarket 20x9 +30 wheels. Got the new continental extremecontact sport 02's to go with them.

Anybody have any insight to TPMS sensors? I'm leaning towards the oem tpms-12 sensors but I see a lot of fakes on ebay and amazon. Also been looking at Amazon MORESENSORs NX-S025-4 or KX-S025-4. Mainly because the reviews say they work with the training tool, and the metal stems seem kinda nice lol. Let me know if there's a problem with the OE sensors or any insight with aftermarket sensors.

I've been using the BHsens / HUF InteliSens from a reputable vendor. I currently have them on 3 vehicles. They have been reliable and easy to sync. I won't buy cheap ones or buy them from Amazon. Way to much of a PIA if there's something wrong after install. BTW..I used a $10 training tool from amazon with no issue for my MKS.

I went with new Motorcraft OEM sensors. Got mine on eBay, all 4 sealed/new for $75. Part # 9L3Z-1A189-A. I have not had any issues they have been perfect. I did not have to sync them they did on their own. I've had them installed since April 2022.

Ultimately I went with a set of preprogrammed Schrader 29020 sensors with a set of metal valve stems for around $112 shipped from rockauto. If I have any problems I may just switch to the BHsens sensors since I want to be able to train them to the vehicle myself.

I tried a long time looking for the OEM Motorcraft sensors for around that price but all of them had signs of being fake. Mostly product pictures with censored logos, wrong valve stems, assembled in China rather than UK, or no fomoco stamping. I don't know how they can get away with terms such as "genuine". Schrader makes them so why not just try a set of real ones not marked as fomoco. A little skeptical because the ones I got look like the TPMS35 sensor which isn't compatible, but if they're preprogrammed I don't see why they wont work.

Will update if anything goes wrong, I really want to show these wheels off.

Just got my 2012 about a week ago. I kinda dig these stock wheels.
Ha! I was wondering where my "Ford factory" wheels were from—they're the Gen3 factory SHO PP wheels! Detroit Wheel & Tire powder-coated the normally clear-anodized 2012 factory wheels gloss-black giving them a refined, more aggressive look.

I was initially looking for simple, flat-faced, solid five-spoke wheels like my Marauder's 18" factory-wheels, but couldn't find anything in 20s. But this 2012 SHO wheel evokes a similar aesthetic, and I think complements the car's lines even better.

The design is also reminiscent of my BMW's factory-wheels and the Mercedes' wheels of this style:

The installer didn't report any clearance, offset, or fitment issues. He did say the factory wheel-nuts seemed too short, but the installation looks fine. The eBay seller, Detroit Wheel & Tire (The Wheel Exchange), claims, "fits all Taurus 2010-2019," and the eBay catalog says it "fits your vehicle."

The wheels look flawless and the gloss-black powder-coating looks perfect. They even re-did one wheel due to some cosmetic flaw.

Communication was excellent and they were even willing to do custom finishes (e.g., satin). If you order from them, know that they are powder-coated to order and will take about a week before they ship; i.e., you don't have to order the "gloss-black" wheels they have "in-stock." Every purchase is made-to-order.

Pricing was fair at $1,595 plus $179 shipping to California. Shipping from Michigan only took about three days. They'll even buy my flower wheels back for $1,000.

I couldn't be happier with the wheels, and I agree, they're among the best designs for the car. I definitely wanted a simple five-spoke design with beefy spokes. Again, I like them even better than the flat-spoked wheels on my Marauder, which I was originally searching for.

Where there any offset issues due to the braking components? I never seen 2013+ with 2010-2012 wheels. But was under the assumption that they where incompatible. Which in my opinion the best design wheels for our car.
I have those same wheels on my car, 2013 non-PP. They look identical to the ones I got with the car from the Ford dealership, just not as good, might have to steal that from you @studio460 . Heres some pictures from a meet last night. Anyone in central FL trying to meet up LMK I'm usually outside every weekend. IMG 2656IMG 2664

There very easy, once you drive just a little bit they all sync. I do believe in the ebay ones more over Amazon, what alot people aren't informed that ebay OEM usually comes from bulk dealer discount where there is just dozens open sitting in a bin. I've purchased two sets for my other two Taurus's, off eBay,.and they after years have had zero issues.

Sensors?

I switched my wheels and want to confirm that the shop also swapped the sensors (it's on the work order) before I ship the original wheels back to Detroit Wheel & Tire for a $1,000 credit.

At the valve-stem on the old 2019 factory SHO wheels (the ones I'm shipping back), I see a round metal piece with a small hole in its sides. Does this mean the sensors have been swapped? Do the sensors attach to this?

Yes, they swapped the sensors. Do you have a TPMS light illuminated on the dash? No? They installed the sensors properly. Sensors look like this:

Cool—thanks!!! No, the TPMS light is not on. I couldn't find any way to check the tire-pressure in the car's displays. Is it one of those "dumb" sensors which only tells your when you tires are low and not indicate current tire-pressure on-demand?

One more question: I'm thinking of swapping my new gloss-back 2010-2012 wheels with my GF's 2018 Fusion's factory wheels and ordering another 2010-2012 set of SHO wheels from Detroit Wheel & Tire, this time, in matte-black for my SHO. Are the sensors compatible or should I have those swapped as well (Fusion-to-SHO and vice-versa)?

The bolt pattern on a Fusion is is not the same as a Taurus. 5x4.25 in vs 5x4.5 in. The sensors don't seem to be the same between Fusion and Taurus. You'll need to do some research.
