For the past six months or so, I have had issues with the boost being inconsistent. Around 2k-4k RPM the boost drops significantly low, then consistently strong after 4k. Thankfully the ford dealership found that my wastegate was not working properly and replaced it. After replacing the wastegate the SHO passed 9/10 road tests when they were analyzing the boost while driving. They basically told me this is all they can do for me until it breaks further, if it was under originally Ford warranty they would replace them asap, but since I have an extended warranty from 'Ethos' the adjuster would most likely not accept the replacement due to lack of evidence.
Has anyone had similar issues with their SHO? Any ideas of what else it could be that the Ford techs cannot figure out, or do I just have faulty turbos?
