i was wondering if a sho motor could be swapped in a sable. i already own one and think it would be fun to blow the doors off some cars in such a crappy car. so would i need the tranny out of the sho to or could i use the stock one seeing that i have the 3.0 liter already.

Already been done by a couple of the "early" SHO guys. First was by Vito Labellarte from Detroit. Second and maybe still for sale was done by Joe Hatcher ([email protected]). Both were ATX conversions.

It is pretty simple, just get the engine (w/ electrical components), tranny, & subframe from a wrecked SHO, bolts right in. Wala, Sable SHO. (Yea, I know I simplified it.)
