As I left work I proceeded to start my car, it kind of stuggled a bit, but it started nonetheless. I found that a bit odd, but stupid me I shrugged it off. I went to get gas at the end of the street and shut my car off. As I went to start it again it wouldn't budge. It struggled for a bit and eventually just started making a clicking sound. I still have power in the car (ie...all accessories, power locks and windows) right now it's sitting at a 24hr gas station/dunking donuts. i have friggen no money right now and i'm supposed to be going away this saturday to vermont using my SHO. anyways, could this be the starter??

Did you check the connections at the starter? Are the cables good? Over time the cables develop a resistance that isn't too good for conducting electricity. If the starter is the culprit, it's easily replaced. How old is the battery? You may still have enough power to operate the accesories but not enough amperage to crank the starter. If you have access to a multimeter, check the voltage. Good luck! :)

I would check all the connections well and make sure that they are free of goo. The oil filter sits directly above the starter and when the filter is removed, the oil drains right onto the starter. Try spraying it well with brake cleaner or contact cleaner and see if that help. Be sure to also check the little wire at the top of the starter to make sure that it has a good connection as it tends to come loose (I have had that happent to me) and wiggle it a bit to see if that helps.
