I want these headers, but they are a batch sell. The members here with NO2 installed might benefit from a freer exhaust. I am leaning toward NO2 myself.

So has anyone ever installed them?

-or-

Does any one have a SHO with long tube headers and can speak about the performance they may or may not provide?

-or-

Does anyone have pics of them installed?

Thanks for looking

Well nevermind I guess, judging by the search I ran, looks like headers wouldn't make much power but would lose torque instead.

Inherently, I knew this but I figured NO2 might benefit, plus the cool factor, those crappy heatshields look well crappy. You would think tuned headers would make power, at least from a V8's point of view.

Maybe custom shortys with the same volume and length as the manifolds?

Well, I have the header's and N2O.

Did I win?

No disrespect to anyonw, but the header's just aren't worth it, until you have MAJOR MODS.

Spend your hard earned $$$ on other stuff.

or you could just leave things the way they are.

very rarely do i ever hear of someone with a V6 powered SHO that isn't running the stock manifolds. they flow very well for cast, and with a solid aftermarket Y pipe and exhaust should flow more than you'll ever need with your N20 set up, based on the fact that you'll be replacing transaxles long before you worry about the flow of the manifolds bottlenecking you.

What he said.

I made my headers myself , but I got shitload of mods on my engine.

This is one of the last mod you need to do.

Yep, I did the search already, but I thought maybe with N20 (or should I just say NOS) fu*k it nitrous oxide, the extra cylinder pressures may necessitate the need for long tube headers, that’s all.

And thanks for the correction; I’ve said that on posts before, opps.

Sorry to all you chemical engineers out there, wait, prolly are none...

Still not right (SHOmethewayhome got it wrong above too), but I don't want the reputation as a spelling ****, so I'll just leave it at that. :)

for the love of all things blessed and good, don't degrade yourself further by calling it NOS...
