I had a not-so nifty experience in the 8+ inches of snow eastern PA got last weekend.

Did you know that if you hit the unlock button on the key fob and then press it again and hold it, your front windows will roll down and the sunroof will vent? Great idea for summertime, not so great in the winter. Thankfully not much got in.

Lets just say I am wiser for the experience.

So, if it opens the windows, and sun roof, does it also close them with some other combination of key strokes? My VW CC did this and it was useful on hot days.

At least on my 2010 I don't believe you can close the windows and sunroof, only open them.

Are the SHOs equipped with remote start (RS), or is the behavior the same without RS?

Neither my Explorer Sport or my 13 SHO do it.

So hit unlock, then release and hold unlock down?

try putting the key in the door lock, turning to lock, and then holding it there.
this will probably close the windows/sunroof.

that's been around a while, my mom's 2000 Lincoln will do that.

Yes. It must have happened in my pocket but I was able to re-create the action. It takes about 5 seconds of holding the unlock down for the windows to drop.

I don't know of any combination that raises the windows and closes it up. That would have been handy last weekend....

@ 93Mark - Its a keyless fob so you don't need to pull it out.

Also, did you know by swiping your finger on the touchpad, the drivers door will unlock? (If you have the fob on you of course).

For those saying it doesn't work, you need to go into the VEHICLE SETTINGS and enable it to ON (at least on 2013's).
