Nice fab work, wow. So, when does the dinner plate sized pulley get smaller ?

Right now I'm getting 9#'s of boost and that is perfect for me. I don't see any plans in the future to up the boost on a 10.5 : 1 engine.
Now, if I make a low compression 3.4, this will be a much different story on a SHO R.T.S. v2.:dribble:

Paul - thank you very much for hosting the pix and putting them up for me. It's been a fun project and it's nice to be able to share a few more details with folks now.:thankyou:

Very nice fab work. That is a cool set up. Is the intake suporting the full weight of the m90 or are there supports in the back that I'm not seeing?

Alot of sice touches, the cover for the front coil packs is cool as well :thumb:.

Nice work.

if that harness was out of the way it would look 100x better

but it looks reallllllllllly good though

Yea maybe run the coil wires through a metal flip that sticks up and backwards towards the intake to kinda hide the wires. Also, splice a few feet into the harness and run it around the coolant tank and up the 1/4 panel. That might be a little too time consuming though.

Getting rid of that harness is a lot to ask. Maybe next summer. There is still a bit of room between the back of the intake box and the M90.

Thanks for the kind words. Sorry I missed your question earlier.

The Supercharger sits on an "L" shaped aluminum bracket, welded and cross-bolted 3/4" thick on back and 1/2" thick underneath. I used the rear head surge tank tower mounting holes plus one more hole back there to lock down the bracket. The power pipe to the intake is preloaded, making the whole assembly very stiff to eliminate blower torquing.

That picture of the MAF's is the `04 Cobra MAF sitting in front of the factory SHO MAF. She breathes pretty good now.;)

So what is your plans with this setup? Get the tune dialed in, then up the boost? Keep it at 9 psi?

Just drive it all winter, try to get to a dyno & wideband O2 by some time next spring. It's really happy where it is - I passed emissions with it, gets good gas mileage, I'm not feeling greedy right now.

Doesn't need more power yet, it needs sticky tires and a better driver.

I think there is a little bit of dialing in to do, but not much, it seems to have a very good tune already. I owe Doug Lewis some data logging but my laptop died a while back and I don't have the cash right now to replace it

I agree! And it looks great Eric! I'm curious as to what this puts out to see how it will compare with the one Doug is making for me. And hopefully we can meet and compare our cars at a SHOw sometime next year. Keep us updated Eric on anything and everything you do. ****....

Sweet, i want to drive my car around for a couple years and then i want to get a gen 2 so i can put my 97 in the barn and work on it, I'm thinking of putting a turbo in it instead of a supercharger. i'm hoping to get a nice drag car out of it though.
