Hi guys/gals.
I havent been on in a while. What's new in the SHO community?

Ok here's the dilly:
I had my stereo installed last week(I'm sure this has nothing to do with the problem, but I thought I'd share just for the **** of it) and as I was driving home afterwards, my car started puttering when I hit the gas harder.
I got home and reved my engine and it would putter untill about 3k rpm and then it would sound fine. When I'm driving and I'm only at 1/4 throttle, it seems to be ok, but as soon as I get on the gas a little more, it would start shaking and puttering untill about 3k or so and then actually start accellerating (but still not as strong as normal). shrug

Now I'm a total newbie when it comes to mechanics, but I am trying.
So far here is what Jeremy(94gSHO is what his name is on here I think) and I have tried:
- Checked Codes = None
- Cylinder Balance Test = Ok
- Injector Cleaner = Nope
- Cleaned MAF, and then tried switching MAF's because I thought I may have fried mine = Nope
- Checked Wires = Ok(I couldnt reach one of them in the back, but everything sounds fine in higher RPMs so I dont think it is that).

So far that is all I/we have tried.

Anybody have any suggestions on what I should be doing ??
Thank you for your time and any help/suggestions you may have.

One more time....

If you are having an engine misfire without a CHECK ENGNIE light, the cause is usually in the secondary ignition system: plug or wires.

Check the plug wells for oil or water. Check the plugs for correctness, correct gap and evidence of arc tracking down the insulator. Check the wires for correctness and age. If they are over about 6 years or 120,000 miles old, they are overdue for retirement.
