ok when i start my car in the moring it will start right up.but if i rev it a up it cuts out from 1000rpm to 2500rpm but that stops after about 3 min.but when i go to take off the car will bog down bad and if you dont give i more gas it will die but some times it stills die if you give it more gas.if you try to take off and it dies its harder to start back up.some most the time when i come to a stop the rpm`s go up and down it all stops after a while.then when i turn the key off the car does not die right away it and the tach will go all the way over as far as it can and it will stay there thill i start the car again. can anyone please help me? :jpshakeh:

Does your check engine light come on at all while the car is running? Best idea is to pull the codes to see what's stored in its memory.

my car is a 90 3.0 and my check engine light does come on some times most the time it is on the inerstate. btw what do i use to get the codes

A paperclip or short piece of wire. There are links to two sites with simply DIY instructions in my signature.
