Hey, just a quick post to let everyone know that the meet was a lot of fun and it was great meeting everyone and getting to see everyone's cars and what they could do. Had a lot of fun. I will post soon with the complete results on everyone's best dyno and 1/8th mile results. Therefore, if anyone that was there READS this, please email me with your results on the dyno and the track so I can post this for everyone in a few days. Thanks guys!! Look forward to doing it again soon.
I am planning on meeting you guys in the near future (about a month) at a restaurant to discuss the events for the year and just to meet and talk as well. Also, just to let you all know in advance...in a few months I'm going to schedual another dyno day at Speed Works this time and get at least 15 people so we can get the $40 discount on the NICE dyno setup with older people that know how to do this stuff right. hehehe However, I will say that Intercrew was not bad...it was worse the last time I went there, but this time was okay, just expensive. Speed Works has the nicest dyno setup in the metroplex and has a very large screened TV and a packet for each dyno. The packets show Air/Fuel ratios at each rpm as well as showing your speed/horsepower/torque at each rpm. It's quite a few pages. And their printer is much faster than Intercrew's. LOL So, look forward to that in 4 months or so...and be sure and mod your cars out before then so we can get some even more interesting results.
Maybe it'll turn into some sort of competition to see who can pull the most out of their SHO by the next Dyno Day. lol Just kidding.
It's all just for fun and to get an idea of where we're all at right now. Hope everyone makes it to the March 2nd Autocross Event at Mineral Wells. It happens once a month, and I encourage everyone to try it out at least once to just watch, and/or at least once just to race. It really is fun and addictive. You'd get to compete with a lot of Bimmers and an assortment of other cars. That's all for now. Later guys. Great to meet all of you. I didn't find ANYONE that didn't fit REALLY well into the group. It was a pleasure hanging out with all of you...I really enjoyed it. Can't wait till next time! Au Revoir!
