SHO open door?

My friends just got a 98 sho and one of his doors is "open" when all of them are closed and the lights drain the battery. Has anyone had this problem? if so how do you fix it.

This is very common in these cars. One of the door ajar sensors is shorted (usually from condensation). There is one sensor in each door at the latch. Take some WD40 and liberally spray each door latch (into the door openings). That usually cures it. Look for excess draining at the bottom.

Had this issue for about a week. I finally got pulled over in the middle of the night for having my dome lights on. Went into the gas station, bought an over priced can of wd-40, sprayed them into the door latches and they instantly fixed themselves.
