Tell them to got WOT(full throttle) while cranking the car. That is, if you are getting fuel/spark. I know when my car stalls, it will take a few times to start again...

Are you sure they verified spark?

x2 and WOT works for me as well... that cuts out fuel to the motor, right?

Im not toooo sure actually... but FWIW, there is nothing wrong with my car and it will do it.... i think its just the EEC trying to figure out when to fire each coil, and what not...

allthough, dont rule out a sensor problem. the CPS(cranks sensor) and CID(camshaft sensor) can both cause a no start.... OTH, you are (or supposidly) getting spark...

I had this same problem after I installed my clutch just last night. The first time it started fine. But I shut it off to adjust the quadrant on the pedal. Went to fire it back up, it coughed and then kept spinning. After a few seconds I decided to give it some throttle and it caught, and ran rough for a second as it burned off the excess fuel. The car had never done it before(but it had been sitting for about a month and a half). I had the same problem leaving work tonight. Gave it some pedal, and she fired up. The CID makes sense to me.

its the sensor on the right(rear)bank on the front of the motor.... about 2'' round and a plug on the top of it. Above P/S pump...

Slow down, boys...

The CID sensor will NOT cause this fault......Don't waste your money....

You have spark apparently, now the shop needs to verify correct fuel pressure.

This ain't rocket science, it's just a car...
