I'll only be out a couple of days to drive the track and sell my car hopefully, but I need a set of used race tires.

Anyone know where I can get a set that'll last me one track day? I have the extra set of rims. I need 235/50/17, or 245/45/17, or 225/50/17.

But, for one track day before a sale why bother? Just run some summer tires.

You'd think a Google search would turn up a bunch of used tires, but surprisingly, it doesn't. It gives you mostly new road race tires, and the first few results that are used tires are never the right size or they're asking way too much.

I don't want to ruin the new tires on the car. And I love running with race tires...so much more fun. Plus, it'll be more likely to sell if I smoke the other cars in the track.

Anyone need a roommate for a hotel room for one night? I'll be needing a room Tuesday night only. Just attending the car show and the track day. I'll pay for half the room cost for that night.

At the convention, I'll be selling my white on black leather '91 SHO, 122k, with sunroof, Quaife, virtually all the suspension mods one could have, rod shifter with metal bushings for a firm no-wear shifter, Cobra brakes, drilled & slotted rotors, big brakes in back with drilled and slotted rotors, extremely-lightweight BSA Racing - Rage 5-star rims, almost new max performance tires, high-flow cats (about $10k in mods). I may offer my extra set of race rims and used race tires, as well, for a little bit more money. It's in very good condition. Was rear-ended before I got it, but Texan Tony's shop fixed it so you can't even tell it was ever wrecked. Perfect alignment, as well. Excellent daily driver and track car. Nicest SHO I've ever owned. $4900 cash.

I'll be driving it at the track day before I sell it. But I'll be heading back to Dallas that evening either in the car or on a flight (you're taking me to the airport if you buy it).

I've got a double bed room, and it's available for Tuesday. I'll be there from Sunday, so look me up when you get in. IIRC, total room with tax is about $100/night, so $50, if you're interested.
