At 73hp per liter, its hard and expensive to get a lot more power. Forced induction or Nitrous Oxide are your large power adders. The Y-pipe is the best starter mod after you do all the maintenance.

what about the "TB coolant bypass" can you tell me more about it.. the pros and cons

Cheap and easy is Mustang talk.... expensive and PITA is more accurate for modding a SHO. As said above first do all the 60k maintentance, rod Bearings, then suspension and brakes, then power adders.
how much power you pushing in your SHO shobote

TB bypass will net no HP gain . It just makes the intake easier to pull off and put on .

It's there to warm up the tb in cold weather. It won't make much difference in performance. Not alot of cheap mods that will net big gains. Fix the suspension and upgrade the brakes if you want easy noticeable improvement.

and last question for now did they use SHO as cop cars and if so how do you know if yours was one

I've seen a SHO used by police back in the early '90s. Not alot but I'm sure there were at least a few.

Nook was in Utah and used to work on cars and modify throttle bodies for sale and (h braces long ago). Not sure if he still has a SHO or if there are some owners round them parts.
