Here is a listing of Florida SHO mechanics from SHO Times. Note in 1998, there was one in Jacksonville, FL. I am not personally familiar with this outfit, whereas I have used Ford Performance Specialists.

At 196k miles, the Yamahammer in my '92 gave up the ghost due to a worn out rod bearing. I made a decision to hire Don Donelson in Port Charlotte, FL, past president of the Sunshine SHO Club and die-hard SHO afficionado to replace the motor, and had my car towed 3 hours to his place. Don is very meticulous about his work and pays a lot of attention to the most minute details. In a nutshell, I had Don replace my motor with a 3.2L with 3.0L intake cams, 96 brake upgrade in front, new brakes in the back, new Ford clutch and various other changes.
