In an effort to supply the Gen 3 aftermarket with parts, three enthusiast
have developed a company to help fulfill these needs. We will not only be
doing Gen 3 SHO stuff but Gen 1 and 2's and many other car brands as well. Our
website will be up in the next two weeks but being busy with finding a better
location for the shop has prevented us from getting the web site done quite
yet. We can get just about any part for any vehicle now with the sources we
now have so please send your request to [email protected].

Here at SHOFAST PERFORMANCE we also have started researching and designing
alot of our own parts plus we are an authorized SHOSHOP distributor. We have
researched many designs and improve several products ourselves. As soon as
the site is up everything will be listed as space allows.

The best news is the introduction of the GEN 3 SUPERCHARGER kits. Yes, you
read this correctly. We have teamed up with nationally recognized ATS/Knight
Turbos and Superchargers to design these kits. Question about these kits can
be directed to us as we are the licensed direct contact for these units.
In addition, we have just completed a new style Gen 3 gauge faces, there will be
pictures of these gauges sent to the list. Blower pictures should be up by
later this week possibly.
We have also gone though great lengths to secure a manufacture for a RAGE style body kit. We hope to have at least two examples will be available for viewing at the convention. We are currently working an many other products for those who
want to get real serious with modifying their SHO or those that just want to
keep it in showroom condition..

Any questions can be directed to the following people:

Brad, Carter & Kirk...

Have you pondered the issue of increasing fuel pressure that would be needed for supercharging a Gen III? Your thoughts and ideas regarding 24/36 lb/hr injectors that fit the fuel rail would be appreciated, as well as a direct fit replacement fuel pump.... oh yeah, and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a recalibrated MAF as well. Any ideas???

Thanks,

Injectors are being researched, I tried to install a set of Ford Motor Sport injectors over the winter. Only to find out that Ford used Bosch injectors for us and not the Densos like they have in the past. I have a few people that are looking for 24 LB Bosch injectors with the same pintle.

But what duty cycle are you looking for? our 19lb injectors are good for 300bhp at max 80% duty cycle. No one is running 300hp as of yet. and that calc is with a rail pressure of 40psi.

MAF have been tested and failed, but you ask why? I never thought about it but durring the testing they ran so lean I was affraid of blowing a hole through a piston. It took a while but I tottaly forgot that the sampileing tubes that I got were for the Cobra (since its the same maf) BUT we have 19lb injectors so I would guess thats why its reading was 18 on the A/F meter. it was looking for more fuel to match the tables that the MAF was tellling the PCM it had.

Mike, I have not got a clue on the pumps but I think Brad was tracking that down.

The regulator would be a very easy task to complete. you will remove and block off your existing regulator and could install a inline one. I havent got one in mind asof yet, need to find one with the proper fittings for the Ford fuel lines, but when I do - your the guinea pig! :)

Well, it'd be nice to find some... Hmmmm, didn't Shannon have 24 pounders? Maybe a covert op to Cheese Country is in order, ay?

300 to the wheels or to the crank? If it's at the crank, then that might explain why my car was running lean on the nitrous... either that or lack of fuel pressure from the rail or the pump.

I ask because all that blown air has to be metered somehow. V8SHO.com said a while back that the OEM MAF should have no problem metering blown air though.

Well, godamit, get on it! wink I think I remember you saying that you had an in-line fuel pump on an old truck of yours. Maybe something like that'd work.

That's just great. No smoking around my car when you do, OK? If I go to an inline pump, then how will I compensate for the nitrous when it is on? I'd like to keep the system tuned to a "flip of the switch" type of setup... meaning, all I have to do is flip the nitrous arming switch knowing that fuel will match nitrous within specs without having to tune up the fuel pressure for the drags.

I guess I'll have to find a couple of ways to compensate for the lean condition and get some more time on the dyno again.

Mike, check out C@L. They have an 80mm MAF for the 4.6 modular motor, that gets rid of the I beam, and replaces it with a small sample tube, and you keep your stock electronics. A quick call to them, and I'm sure they could send you the right shell and tube, and there'll be no electronics to reprogram. Obviously you already have an 80, but so did the GT stang MM&FF installed it on, and it netted 12hp I believe.

Alright you two keep it civil. (You know who you are)

Kirk congrats on the new business venture.

Oh, If anyone is interested I have an idea for fuel regulator that might just work, using an exsisting one made for ford motor. Space would only be the only problem I see. It would require a little mod to the PS line near regulator. Email me off list I will explain. thumbs_u

Thanks Mackie! I sure we will try our hardest to improve The V8 aftermarket.

Rik, I think you went a little too far when the rest of us look at what he wrote to you. I dont know what is going on but were discussing something else and the balble is not welcome here. Go rip each other in the Neshoc fourm.

Thanks and have a nice day.

Hey guys good luck on the new business. But, i e-mailed [email protected] a while ago and still haven't gotten a word back. Please tell me the price of a Head Gasket for a 89. I can get them from Checker after some hassle for 40 bucks each. But, I was wondering if you guys can get me a cheaper price. I am very tight with money, and every penny counts. Thanks again guys, and good luck!

Hmmm didn't know the head gaskets for the Gen I's and III's were the same wink SHO Fast Performance is solely for the Gen III crowd I do believe.

May I first apologize to anybody who may have attempted to contact us over this past weekend to order or check on availability of SHO parts. Due to a family commitment our primary contact was unavailable and time was not on my side to allow me to cover.
Second, as apparently some may not have received the proper notification, we, SHO Fast Performance are four fellow enthusiast who own, care for and drive our cars but were eager to get more from them then just the standard mods. In this endeavor we formed a small company to peruse our passion and pioneer many performance and appearance mods that we could not find elsewhere. In an effort to get this venture going we are maintaining our other "daytime" jobs to keep start-up costs down. Much research has gone into locating and securing vendors and manufactures who can meet our needs and requirements. A major portion of the last 3 weeks has been preparing our WEB site to offer these parts to our fellow SHO enthusiasts. This has certainly become a much bigger project then we first anticipated (nearly 300 suppliers) but we are close to completion. We have secured a better shop location to install the parts we sell online and service the SHO's and hope to close on it within the month. Trust me when I say we understand that this may not be happening fast enough for some, nobody more then us would like it to be all going at full tilt right now, but it just isn't possible unless you have a few hundred thousand sitting around to burn.
Third we would like everybody to know we are catering to all SHO's just not Gen 3's. Being a previous owner of all Gen's, I sure know how the aftermarket is. Other owners like myself have not had the best of luck with some of the other companies trying to supply the SHO market. That's why we decided we needed to step up to the plate and help change all the unhappy customers out there. Our goal in the next year is to own the SHO market and the way we plan to do business everybody will be happy. We can fab or make just about any product out there and probably improve others out there just give us the time.

In closing I would like all of you to please be patient as we grow and learn some lessons. I assure you the wait will be worth it.

I recently checked on the head gaskets and we cannot really do any better on price for you. So please LMK if there is anything else we can do for you.

We are working on the fuel pumps and injectors as we speak along with fuel pressure regualtors. Kirk and I will let you know on these as soon as possible.
