Whats up. Just wanted to say hello to all of the SHO owners out there. I've been working on fords for about five years now. Usually because most fords are in need some some maintenance once they get older.Most people would rather get rid of a car than pay big $$$ to get it fixed. I've been through an 89 mercury sable, 87 ford Taurus, 89 sable wagon, 89 Taurus wagon, and recently bought an 98 Taurus SE dohc 24 valve with dual exhaust for $400 bucks. Everything was great with the car except the transmission went out at around 83,000 miles. My friend that sold it to me told me to check out this parts car that he saw. End up getting a 99 Taurus se 24 valve dohc for fifty bucks with newly rebuilt transmission put in. Seems they had the same transmission problem too. It was a state car and rolled coming down the mountain. Changed the transmission and a few other parts and bingo.I'll post a picture here..Oh yeah also scored the 6 disk cd changer from the trunk.nice...:sun:

never wire the fan to the fuse block and turn on the a/c...
Couldn't find the picture of the wagon, had some fun times with that one though....
here is the 89 SHO. ready for a complete make over.
blown head gasket then looks like some one put block seal .....hate that stuff
Wish me luck. anyone that has rebuilt an 89 and has had forged pistons put in, let me know which ones you got.I've done a lot too these car but this is my first SHO and I want to beef up the motor since I have to take it apart anyway..I've done a couple of head gaskets b4, but never rebuilt the motor.What can I say, I'm just not in to Hondas any more because every kid on the block has one...I'll be posting from time to time so thanks for all the help..
