Just about done with my third totalled SHO rescue.

I get these at the boneyard auction, unfortuantely when there's no sale on these, they go to scrap. It's sad when I don't have any money and see on on the block, then see the auction report the next day and see them unsold, and know they met their untimely end.

Anyway, Here's save #3. It was hit from the side taking everything forward of the core support off with it, and swinging the nose about 2".

This one was a 93 ATX with 80K miles. Once i reset the fuel cutoof, it started right up and I was abel to driv eit onto out trailer, even though most of the stuff from the nose was dragging. Once the frame and core support was straightened, I replaced with new: radiator and a/c hard lines, and all the bolbs and side marker lights. Used a used condensor, PS radiator, and everythign else, from parts cars. White body parts are from a 93 MTX I just scrapped after sstripping.

runs great, 80K miles, full leather and premium JBL with sub, runs smooth as silk. Total cost of car and parts about 900 plus bout 32 hours labor.

here it is with all the broken crap taken off and straightened

Good job! :) I'm really not liking the hubcaps though... wink
I was half tempted to use a already green sable bumper we have, and a sable rear bumper cover from the rescue #2 car, and make it a little sleeper, heh.

thanks!

I JUST got the AC workign again, it was astupid reason that it wasn;t working before. AS club buddy knew the problem pretty much once we tried another CCRM.

turns out the EEC will not tell the CCRM to turn the air on until it's been running after a battery removal for like 10 minutes. Waited ten minutes, running, watching the tester on the compressor clutch lead, then it lit up, started pumping, and cool wonderful air filled the cab.

Then the high pressure fitting started leaking, so we grabbed a stem tool, pulled the center out of a stem on a dead rim, and hot swapped the center piece of the high side stem center piece with A/C shit shooting out of the high side ******, heh. It fixed the leak, I added another can of 134, works fine.
