OK I did my gasket's about a week ago! I put autolite plugs and borg n warner wires on it! Well just today it started to buck on me bad! The gap on the plugs were .45! The crank shaft position sensor has also been replaced and the gap on that was set by the mechanic! Could it be the plugs? Or is my cam shaft position sensor going out? I ran the codes on it and theres no codes at all?? Its on a 94 ATX with 113K on it.

when does it buck? If it does it when you apply the throttle after rolling off a hill or at the exact same spot in the rev range every time id be willing to bet the tps sensor has a flat spot. I had this problem on mine a while back where it felt like there was slack in the drivetrain and Sdpatt kept telling me it was the tps and finally i replaced it for the 2nd time and it worked. I bought a faulty tps sensor from orielly that failed about 2 months after purchase. Hope that helps some

Those plugs are a problem, but the wires might be the larger suspect. Replace them both.

Did you at least use Autolite double platnums? The SHO ignition system is is pretty hot; anything less than a double platnum just won't hold up.

Cam sensor will have absolutely nothing to do with a bucking situation so don't even think twice about it. It sounds like an ignition problem... what were the "premium" wires you used? The SHO is finicky... use motorcraft, taylor or AC Delco wires only, as those wires will fit correctly. For plugs I recommend only Ford double platnums, AGSP-32FM. Get some decent plugs/wires in that thing and I bet your problems go away.

Never heard of belden... I'd still take those wires back and get a set of something mentioned above. You can order AC Delco wires from Midwest SHO for $59.00 and those wires are identical to Motorcraft. A lot of people have found the hard way that even "premium" wires aren't the right ones for the SHO.

Also, are you sure you have the wires routed properly? It's a common mistake to cross up the #5 and #6 on the front bank. It should go:

(engine)
1 2 3
4 5 6

(coil pack)
5 1
6 2
4 3

my car has a slight bucking problem under steady throttle. Usually between 30-50mph crusing, just touching the gas. It always has (since i've been driving it). I've cleaned the MAF, have new motorcraft plugs, Champion wires (seem to be of quality, the well seals fit very snug against the valve cover, and they look just like the motorcrafts i pulled off).

Perhaps i'll try a new TPS and see if that smooths things out.
