Hello,

It is really icy, and I was going to make a left turn, but when there's ice, the car doesn't do what you want it to...obviously. Anyways...I drive a GEN I SHO and I'm going to make this left turn and I go straight into a curb...really really hard. The outcome is I need a new right front wheel, but that is the least of my concern right now. The wheel is pushed back a little and I jacked it up and took the wheel off to take a look. Everything looks normal (ie. nothing broken or looks bent.) Any ideas on what could be wrong? Will a full alignment fix this? There is no shaking when driving...drives fairly smooth, but the steering wheel doesn't return to center position as it normally does. Please, opinions appreciated.

Thank you.

you need to have a body/frame shop check it out... been there with a thunderbird to the tune of a frame straightening bill..... most places will charge you next to nothing if not nothing to inspect it

Something IS bent.
:( Any ideas on how much this will be to fix?
"Something" may be a number of things:
A spindle, tie rod, tie rod end, ****...maybe even the halfshaft itself.

Your best bet is to take it in to a qualified suspension/alignment shop and just have them give it a once over.
