SHO 1992 Had no spoiler

Hello: Im new to the sho forum.com, So Hi to all the sho enthusiasts out there. I have just recently purchased a 1992 Black on Black. The car has no spoiler. I have looked at fords flyers of that time and found that all photos of 1992s have no spoilers. So my question, I feel the car looks just fine with no spoiler? My friends have various opinions, How do you all feel about adding a later model deck spoiler? Or should a person leave it in stock form? Thanks for your feedback it will be greatly be appreciated. No mods whatsoever totally stock.

If you like it add it. If not, don't. I added a factory spoiler to my non factory spoiler equipped '90 because I liked it.

The one thing you should remember is first and formost its YOUR car that YOU paid for. Even if it might not be someones cup of tea if you like it thats all that matters!

Congrats on the car and with all that said I say put the spoiler on

I have a white '92 and I'm going to put a spoiler on as soon as I find one from a white '93 so I don't have to paint it. I think it looks better IMO. Your car though, you like it the way it is, leave it.

I personally like the spoilier a lot, o and btw yes the stock spolier actually does help stabilize the car at 140mph:naughty:

post whore......

The spoiler's up to you. I personally prefer the clean look of the 92 without a spoiler, but that's just me. But be prepared for people to mislabel it as a 93 every time they see it....

My 92' had no spoiler either but I added one from a SLO out of a junk yard. I think no spoiler and non-visable exhaust tips (on 92s) add to the sleeper effect. I like the look of the spoiler so I added it to mine.

My opinion: I'd add the spoiler. It's not that it looks "bad" without the spoiler, just that it's missing something. But like everyone else has been saying, it's your car, do what YOU want. Not what everyone else wants you to do.

Black on Black! w00t!

That's debatable.

If I had a 92 I'd leave the spoiler off. That's one thing that makes a 92 different.

The no spoiler look is special since theres not that much of em. I like both actually.

And my 92 parts car red/black was spoilerless as well.

And I also think that, the only reason it may look like something is missing is because all you see are Gen IIs with spoilers.

I like the no spoiler look so much, I swapped a '92 trunk lid onto my '93.

I like the rear of the car flows better without the spoiler.
