Idk was kinda bored soo i went out and did a lil launch with a 0-60 i noticed it seems really slow i mean the launch wasnt the greatest but still pretty slow to me all the maintenance has been done previous owner replaced the dis module o2s spark plug wires and plugs supposedly.......i did timing belt, cps, cam sensor, timing belt,waterpump.....im gonna chk the spark plugs to see if he really did them.....i wonder if i have a bad head gasket or a weak coil pack no white smoke or black smoke.....any tests i can do wit a voltmeter?
recorded wit a cheap 50 dollar camera

:thankyou:

o yea i think the clutch is a lil weak the cheap bastard before me i think only replaced the friction plate and not the pressure plate could play a factor but ask the SHO gurus what you guys think

That looks about what my '93 MTX does. I think your top end is quicker to it than mine, though I just fixed an exhaust leak about an hour ago and it was freaking freezing and since then my car seems to at least have better low end torque... Also might be the 5k elevation of Prescott Valley, AZ or the recently discovered lack of a catalytic converter that ruins my time. I don't really abuse the tires/clutch/transmission very much though so I could just be taking it easy.

I've seen ATX's do faster than mine or at least that's what it looks like... haven't really gotten to test out whether or not my car will push 7k rpms like it should now since PV is nothing but 25mph residential roads.

A stock SHO ... how fast do you think the 0-60 should be? Remember it is a heavy FWD sedan

Stock is around 7 seconds. Your video is around .... 7 seconds.

Judging by the dash it's a Gen 2? The newer the year the heavier the car generally. 89's were the quickest and got to 60 between 6.4-6.8 seconds. Take off your ABS and seats and carpet and other not important stuff and you'll catch up.

Seems about right to me; 7-8 seconds.

But the coolest part is the fact that you actually have more punctuation in your username than your first 2 post in this thread. :thumb:

There is no reason to pull the intake for the rear plugs.

Remove the black plastic firewall cover.
Unclip the secondary vacuum canister and unbolt the clip that secures it to the intake.

6-9" of extensions is all thats required.
