sfc installed

Well folks I put on my sfc today and its outstanding. About an hour after completion I got a loud noise every time I started my car under the drivers floor. And also when excelerating like a whole in the exhaust. It got louder and louder but only when stepping on the gas. The driverside floor had a lot of vibration in it. As the day war on I also got a loud vibration over the driverside rear wheel. At first I thought it might be the top strut mounting plate, because I just replaced the passenger side one. But as I listened it only happened when excelerating. Has anybody had this problem. I should also note that the sfc under the driverside was hitting the exhaust brackett. We put a rubber hose on it to control the noise so there wouldn't be metal to metal. I need your vast superior input please!

You'll need to get your exhaust not to touch at all, putting a rubber spacer won't work, youll still get all the vibration.

Have a muffler shop weld a hanger and strap it.

This happens to everyone that installs these.

Weld a hanger and strap it, tell me more. My mechanic wants to take the exhaust down and dimple it where it is touching so it won't anymore. Give me your advice. tHanks!!!

Like I said on mine all they did was add a hanger close to where it was rubbing and strapped it, I wouldn't dimple it.

Its prolly actually the hanger thats stock thats rubbing that will have to be removed if its not allready. Some poeople live with out it like I have.
