I've posted a poll in the General Discussion forum and crosslinked it here for higher visibility

http://shoforum.com/index.php?posts/1452327/

Original post:

Since the Gen 4/6 SHO was announced, we've had two separate SHO discussion sections: a dedicated Gen 4, and Gens 1, 2, and 3 in the traditional section. I asked Beth about it and she wanted them seperate, but now with the national convention thread being posted in several different places, it highlights again that the four gens don't have a common posting area. Does this still make sense?

Obviously I have no sway one way or another, but I figured it'd be good to get the temperature of the whole crowd here.

There are so few topics usually in common between Gen I/II/III and Gen IV SHOs, it's best to keep them separate. However, we could post the Convention/Carlisle events etc. under the National Club subforum or under a standalone Announcements subforum, and if possible, make "stickies" across the top & below the (Mark Forums Read ... New Posts ...) menu for such topics for easy access & visibility.

Which means absolutely nothing. In fact Gen III has its own discussion thread, which really makes you wonder: why does SHO related even exist? Is it JUST for 3.0l V6 discussion? Or is it supposed to be for SHOs in general?

Heck, SHO Related is essentially a graveyard these days anyway.

I always figured SHO Related was for all the models. It has filled a need for people with a topic that includes a SHO, but the SHO is not the principle subject (like troubleshooting a problem or solving an issue), like asking the sales figures.
