separating CV axle

I did a search and couldnt find what i was looking for. From what I understand, you can separate the intermediate shaft from the half shaft on the passenger side. How is this done? Any help as soon as possible would be awesome. Thanks guys

A pry bar is all you need once the axle is out of the knuckle. Rather than a steady pressure you need to give it a quick snap and it will slip right out.

yup, a quick snap is the key to getting it to release.
