I relize that all the sensors do affect performance... per se. And also that some affect more than others, as well as some need to work in together...

I suppose im trying to get a list of all the sensors that could **** performance.

To start, and possibly THE top sensors:
MAF
O2's
and possibly the ECT???

are there any more that really affect the performance of the motor? I cant see the TPS affecting it (basically, cause the EEC will learn the correct values, so adjusting it is useless) nor the CID or CPS. Granted these DO affect the car, but in the performance area???

completely stupid thing, dont know if it's connected to what you're talking about or not. If a person has just bought a SHO and has a power loss problem, check and see if the SPOUT connector is there. Now that ive driven the 94 w/the spout pulled i know that's what was wrong w/my old 89:rofl:

MAF is the big kahuna WRT the engine management as a whole.
