the o2 sensor in my tempo was bad so i replaced it with an extra one from a SHO, it works fine.

Point being that the harness on the o2 for the tempo was 3-4" longer than the SHO's o2 lead. if someone had a fitment problem regarding a short lead wire, this tempo thing might do the trick. i didn't check on the price, but instinct tells me that it might be less expensive too. just passing it along.

The Bosch 13942 O2 sensor for the 3.0L SHO is $33.99 from AutoZone. Why even chance it?

"Why even chance it?"

all sensor are basically same from car to car, with a few exceptions. alot of cars have much diffrent engine control stratiges, that may be causing the fear of sensor swaping across model lines. 'why should a heated o2 from a MAP car work just as well on a MAF car' from what i have seen and read, it will work fine.

i just wanted to say that this perticular sensor would allow more freedom placing the 02's on a customly made y-pipe, due to the longer lead wires. i'm sure they are compeditivly priced as well.

Bosh has three different types of O2 sensors for the SHO (at least the ATX). The only difference in the three is the length of the wire. With an ATX, longer is better wink for the rear bank. A little more expensive, but it cuts out some of the cussing trying to put it back together.

Hey Scott,
How come every Autozone is a different price? According to my Autozone, they are $44.99 each. Care to run to the store for me? HAHA J/K. Autozone should charge the same price.
