Sensor function?

So can anyone tell me what this does pic below, sits in-between radiator and grill to the right of the Ford oval.

I don't have the newer SHO but that looks like an ambient temp sensor. You have an outside temp reading in the cabin?

I believe you are correct, and yes I do have ambient temp reading inside.
