secondary air injection

i keep getting a cel for secondary air injection failure, i test the pump and it works fine?? any sugestions, im thinking it intermitingly goes out>>??

Sometimes the SAI intake tube gets clogged up w/ crud.

How are you testing it? Is it actually pumping air to the manifolds? The fitting in front is pretty easy to open. Could also be a diverter valve problem too. This could be a vacuum hose or bad vacuum solenoid.

It is usually the SSR that goes bad but if you can get it to run then that isn't the problem. What's the code?

Sounds like you should seek a good Auto Technition,do you know any..................? I know one that came across those same problems with his.
