Does anybody have a vacuum diagram or pictures of how the secondary intake runner circuit functions? I just did my 60k today and everything went well except my secondaries are always open.

Hey Wood_e,
Check out the wiring harness on the back of the intake. It controls the secondaries opening at ~4000rpm.
I forgot to reconnect mine once and had the same problem.

there are a couple things to check here. First would be to make sure the electrical connector on the rear of the intake is plugged in. There are 2 vacuum lines connected to that, then there are 2 on the canister mounted next to it. One vacuum line should be connected to the back of the intake, then there should be the hose going to both butterfly actuators.

check the vacuum lines to that same controller and make sure that none of them were disconnected when you removed/replaced the intake.

Here is a description of the hose routing for the intake manifold runner control (IMRC) system.

Well I found my problem I think.

The bottom of the T fitting runs back to the rear bank, and the left side runs back to the front bank. What hose is missing in the pic?

Looks like the hose from the Secondary Solenoid on the back of the manifold is disconnected.

Good call chris! I reached down to the back of my intake and found a disconnected line. I connected it back up and they function normally. Thanks for all the fast replies. I am again in debt to the forum :D
