Yes. The dealer says they found a pin that wasn't seated properly in a connector--and that is NOT why it is for sale. It got the attention of Ford Customer Service which I was hoping would help the dealer.
Although I was less than happy during the diagnosis, they came through. Made me happy I sprung for the $2100 7 year, 100,000 mile extended warranty, even though there are still 2 years left on the factory bumper to bumper.... That benefit will be passed on to the next owner.
There are plenty of electronics in these with Blind Spot Warning, My Key, Navigation, Heated and Cooled Seats, Heated Steering Wheel, Cross Traffic Alert, and so on and so on.
Let me know what you think of the one you're test driving. Both of mine did not have the PP. I've heard of harsh rides and of course there is no spare. The only thing I wouldn't mind is the slightly lower gear ratio.....but you'll pay the gas mileage penalty over the long haul.....
