Is there enough of the stud protruding through the weldnut on the floorboard to grab it and twist it loose?

Left Hand Drill bits.

The seat studs are M10 aren't they? That would be about a 5/16" bit - right down the center of the stud, use lots of oil on the bit and go slowly.

I have a full set of left-hand bits, they have saved my bacon so many times I've lost track. As the bit cores out the fastener, it eventually weakens, and finally, the bit's left-hand cutting action grabs it and backs it right out.

broken seat stud

X 2 on the left hand drill bits. They are a real life saver. I also have a set of the Craftsman bolt removers. You can use them with a cordless drill in reverse and go really slow.. These remover are made out of some really hard material so be careful you don't break them off in the hole.
