I seafoam my sho once every 3 months or so. Do it right and you'll be fine..

I suck it in at the ****** where the cruise control thing gets vacuum. Its on top of the intake just behind the tb. Start the car and raise the idle and let the motor suck it in. Once your almost through with it let the motor choke itself out with the seafoam.. let it sit for about 20 minutes or so then go beat the **** out of it.. throw some in the gas tank too and get all that shit cleared out..

Clay, he has an ATX, is there a better place on the intake to use it?

I wouldn't do it anyways, I thought there was issues with it pooling up in the intake?

I have thought of doing the seafoam myself. But I came to the conclusion its just as easy to pull the intake to clean and inspect it. This also give me the chance to check over other things like plug wells on the backside and other things you cant see. I even vacuum out the mouse nest in the valley by the knock sensor, thats always fun.

What's why you let the motor suck it in and then flog it so the motor sucks it all up.

There still should be a ****** on top of the intake that pulls vacuum.

FYI, Clay, the ****** you're referring to is part of the EVAP system, not cruise control (it leads to the purge solenoid). Cruise control vacuum is supplied by the vacuum manifold on the firewall.

I think im going to just return the seafoam and not mess with it because my car doesnt really run bad. Now here is another question. When i first start my car, my gas pedal has a really hard initial push. I looks like im driving with a wooden leg when i go down the road, but after a few minutes it becomes smooth and silky. Any ideas? New Throttle cable? ( i wouldnt be surpirse if those were discontinued too.........lol)
