thats what I thought, I had a buddy talking in my ear saying I would have to reprogram it each time I disconnect the battery, which is good because ford performance specialists never wrote in the manual saying what the programs were set to..

The Xcal actually takes the stock program and saves it to the unit then installs the selected program to the PCM. I've never reprogramed to stock but if I remember corectly it will be lable in an obvious manner that you will know which one is stock. Also the tunes that came on my Xcal from FPS where lable ie 87 (for 87 octane) etc.

I have mine programmed on program 1...on my owners manual for the xcal there is a blank space p1 p2 p3..meant for someone to write the tune..I use vpower from shell...so should I be using program 3? I am using 1 right now
