SCT tuner says "ECU unlock failed" worked before?

Loaded tune from LMS Rick no problem. Returned to stock no problem (dont ask my why, thought I would return to stock over winter). Decided to do a "hangover" T&T at Cordova IL Jan 1.

I go to put tune back in and it fails every time. First it says "failed to find strategy" then it says "ECU unlock failed". Anybody seen this? Most posts on the net are people using a tuner not set for their car but I know this one is and it worked!

Anybody seen this? I did email Rick, hopefully he can help me out.

OK that was a short lived crisis. Just tried again and it is loading now. I am not sure what the problem was but I think* either I didnt get the plug all the way in in the dark, OR I didnt hold the start button long enough for everything to power up. One of these has to be the issue...

I was old school until this year so I am a tune greenhorn. Always had manual carb play cars up until now!

That typically happens when it's not in accessory mode.

Yeah I think that was it. If you push the button you get some dings, radio, and a couple lights. *THOUGHT at that point I was in Acc. Not the case, you have to push and hold until you get lots and lots of dings and trouble lights, etc.
