SCT Tuner help

Hey guys i have an iTSX that came with the car and I cant get it to program the car. It keeps giving me the error in the pic below. In order to get the strategy code I had to actually start the car. So I hooked my motorcycle batt up to the car batt and started the motorcycle, still didn't do any good. Im worried this tuner may be bad but it seems to data log just fine and it can't be a battery issue, anyone know?

Tried updating the tuner? Make sure you are in the correct ignition position? Try reading other vehicle to verify it isn't the tuner?

Hey bud sorry just responded to your PM I've been out replumbing my pool. Sounds like the car isn't entering accessory mode based on the code you're getting.

https://derivesystems.helpjuice.com...means that during,is getting from the battery.

Make sure you are actually entering accessory mode by double tapping the button or holding it down for 3 seconds. Guages should sweep and radio should come on.

Let me know if that fixes it.

Well not exactly, I was turning accessory power on, but some of the 10s-12s you have to hold it for 3 seconds to FULLY activate accesories

What is Ignition in the correct position Alex

Is that better?
