WTF.. I was at the grand opening of the new Worth Harley Davidson North yesterday and as I was trying to find a parking space, this mother f*cking ********* on his bike got really close to my car and his pedal scratched a HUGE mark all the way down the side of my car and then after that put a gash in my rear wheel rim...

****** thing: He was in a long line of bikes and by the time I could get out of my car.. I lost him in the crowd. WHAT A RIP!

I have a deep hatred for people on harley's now..

BTW- The free concert blew chunks for anyone who heard about it...

Im not a big fan of "most" Harley guys, I always caught crap from the guys at work when I rode my R6 into work. They'd ask me when Im gonna get a real bike LOL I just replied with my bike cost a fraction of what you overpaid for and will outdo your tank in every aspect LOL So who's gonna get the real bike now.

Sucks man!

Yeah.. I never got the point of paying 15k+ for a bike... If I want to ride in comfort and have a radio that everyone on the road next to me can hear.. I might as well get a car.

i never really got the statement either, but it does make sense, once i actually rode a few for any amount of time.

if you dont ride a Harley, you don't understand.

I personally don't own one, nor could I justify paying 10,000+ for one new from a dealer.

but if i had half that amount and came across the right basket case FL, you bet your ass i'd be building myself a road glide.

Douchebaggery is not limited to harley riders. i've met plenty of guys on rockets (I owned a TL1000R and a ZX7R once upon a time) that would do worse and care less.

Most bikers i know are decent guys, it's the weekend warrior orthodontist with his 18,000 dollar 27 mile a month 'chopper' with chrome and fringe everywhere trying to live the part that acts like a tool.

any real biker could care less what you ride, or drive. or would at least appologize for tearing up your car as you describe.

was he patched? in a club? if he was track down the chapter Pres. and describe the bike and the incident, chances are if you aren't a tool about it they'll be more than happy to help you recompense for the damage.

once upon a time i had a prospect smash one of my car windows out with a whiskey bottle for no good reason. he wasn't a prospect after i talked to the chapter president.

I really can't see myself walking into our local chapters clubhouse (can't get past the gate) and complaining about my car getting scratched. What kind of bikers are we talking about?

I used to own a 2005 Harley Sportster 1200r, but learned real quick that even within the HD sub-culture, there are still cliques. Basically, if you ain't riding a big twin, it ain't a real Harley (i.e. Sportsters, Buells, V-Rods). I sold it after a couple of years, because I still found myself laughing at all the HD riders with their chaps, vests with all their flair on it, chrome doodads everywhere, fringe, dew rags, etc.

So my lesson learned from my Harley ownership and experience is summed up in the rear license plate frame on my SHO. It reads, "If Harley Made A Plane, Would You Fly In It?!"

I feel the same way about **** on bicycles. No concern about anyone but themselves. Take up the entire road, who do they think they are???

All Priests are pedophiles too, oh, and lest we forget that anyone who owns a gun is a nut.

Cops all suck, Katrina was W's fault (he can control the weather ya know...), all female gym teachers / sports coaches are ********.

You could go on and on with your rediculous line of reasoning, and "deep hatred for people on Harleys".

I suggest you just go out and indiscriminately mow down as many "bikers" as you can. Your defense could be as simple as saying you didn't see them.

Maybe you could try your hand at texting while you're doing that. Everyone does, don't you know.

Inconceivable that the guy/girl riding that bike was squeezed over into you by whomever was on their other side? Knew they had scratched your car, were concerned about it and by the time they were able to fall out of line and look for you, you had already moved along?

Probably. Inconceivable.

Your attitude about this will only perpetuate such experiences moving forward. I suggest you forgive and be thankful no one was hurt. Oh, except for your stoopid(sic) car and precious rim.

****, it mustve been an older bike to have survived such an encounter - as cheaply made as the newer ones are.

On second thought, maybe you should sue the new dealership. They DID organize the event and after all, aren't all lawyers rabid ambulance chasers that are insatiably greedy?

Respectfully,

Just another mf-ing *********.

Oh, another thing about Harleys...95 percent of them are still on the road, and the other 5 percent actually made it back home, lol...

I'm a sportbike guy, but two wheels is two wheels. The only beef I have with Harley Riders is when they're sitting at a stoplight and feel the need to rev it 27 times. Is it that hard to keep it running? Oh...and the weekend warrior orthodontist, He's the coolest mo ***** in the land!!...just ask him.

But we can't just rip on the Harley guys because I have met several sportbike riders that are the same way.

I have noticed it as much with crotch rockets (the revv'ing).. but there is this one idiot in my apartment complex that likes to start up his harley at like 3am at least once or twice a week and just rev it for like 5 minutes and then when actually does start to get in motion.. he will forget that he has other gears. (no muffler if that wasn't obvious).

Obviously we are dogging on harley people here... but damn.. if there were so many douche bags that drove them.. I don't think the stereotype would exist, would it?

that's like saying the population of NYC has more ******** than all of Alaska. It has absolutely nothing to do with the amount of ******** but more to do with the total size of the sample. NYC may have more ******** per capita than Alaska but to make no attempt to commonly measure the amount of ******** will only lead to skewed results stating whatever you want them to.

I've kept out of this thread because as somebody stated it's a generalization that all Harley owners are cockfags. Obviously generalizations are not completely true but in order for it to be a generalization or stereotype there is usually some small shred of truth or lack of understanding to perpetuate it.

If you sample 10 alaskans and 10 NYers, you will find 1 or 2 ******** in alaska and 9 in NY :p Maybe 8, if Hamal and Fonz are BOTH in that sample set.

exactly, the population size sampled is the same and yields results which are much more accurate and representative of a population...
