Please join us for SCR's first Car Show. All proceeds will go towards funding for public awareness for allowing a 1/4 mile drag strip to be built in Lincoln. Our goal is to get the word out there that Lincoln needs a track! Flyers, posters, newspaper adds, etc...

When: Sunday, Aug 9th. Registration: 11-12. Show 12-2:30. Awards 2:30.
Where: Ideal Grocery. 27th & F.
Entry fee: $10
We will have pizza from PieZanos available for $2 a slice and pop for 50 cents a can.

Show will be participant judged. Every entrant will get a ballot to write down there choice for each class. All classes are "Best of" and include GM, Mopar, Ford, Engine, Paint, Interior, Import Classes, Bike, Truck, Fbody, Mustang, and Best of Show.

Please help us raise money for a good cause. A 1/4 mile track in the Lincoln area is long overdue. Hopefully we can raise enough money to make a difference and get the word out there. See you there!

I've followed the thread and considering who is putting it together, it'll just be a regular car show without getting the point across.

How ironic... As much as I want a real track, I'm likely not to go because there will be too many idiot d00sh bags there (and running it). Yap, they got their point across.
