Where can the angled bracket for the rear support be purchased? Is there a certain quality of hardware that must be used (bolts, clevis, etc.)?

Should construction adhesive be used in addition to the wood screws?

The angled bracket support isn't necessary for the rear, unless you want to just have the added security while under there. You have a Gen II car so it's possible to just use a M10 bolt with a washer or two on it. That's what I use going through one of the links of my chain.

On the drawing I noted that it was an 8" x 1.25" bracket. It started life as a flat bracket and was bent at the dimensions indicated by myself to conform to the configuration of the engine at the rear head. I placed a length of copper wire at the mounting location and shaped it to fit flush with the engine to ensure the greatest strength. I bought the flat bracket at Home Depot in the fence and shelf hardware area. It was next to the bolting and nail aisle near the front of the stores. I think the stores are all laid out about the same.

Thanks guys. I don't have a vice for bending the bracket. How many chain links do you think I need to go without it?

In the video about three bolt holes are shown in the block. Are all of these okay to use?

Edited to ask: Are the support dimensions the same for my generation 2?

I didn't need a vise. I just used my foot and pliers. The dimensions should be the same, but you should still measure your car for the width of the body work. The positioning also depends upon the accuracy of the drilling for the eye bolts. The number of links depends upon the size of the chain that you use and the length of the eye bolts. The idea is that you want to support the engine in its original position.
