I was wondering if either XM Radio or Sirius operate in Canada. I can't to find any info on this. I'm assuming that I can get a signal because I'm about 1/2 hour from the U.S. border.

I looked into it and yes you can receive it in Canada. Apparently some of the truckers use it and you can get it even as far north as Edmonton.337:
I was looking into it last year with XM radio, but they told me that it wasn't "availible" in canada, at least for the moment. On the other hand, Future shop up here sells all the necessary equipment for it.
Is there anybody with satelite radio near the border who wouldn't mind take a little trip into Canada to see if it actually works up here?
Great! Is that including Quebec as well? I was just going by the info XM radio sent me last July.Ian Macoomb:

Fortunately the Canadian government can't stop the signal from splashing over into Canada.
