I recently purchased a black '98 after owning a green '94 ATX for 6 years. I am looking to make a couple of mods and I thought I'd start with a SARC switch. I just put it in and I don't feel any change in the steering or the suspension. Also, the "service engine soon" light is on. I am sure this is related, but don't know how. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Thanks Steve

My guess, Steve, is that you tapped into the wrong fuse.

Yes the SES light will not light up due to the SARC fuse being pulled. The best way to do the SARC switch is from the controller in the trunk. This will not mess with the steering. The fuse under the hood is a bit easier though but I didn't like the loss of my PS at slow speeds.
